The program will consist of bi-monthly concerts from June to September 2006.

Ten bands will go head to head competing before judges in this challenge, opening for renowned international artists. The first concert will be held on June 29th, followed by two concerts per month in July and August finishing off in September with a single event where the winner will be chosen.

Demos will be reviewed during the month of May by the Producers, who will then select twenty bands to move forward in the Battle.

Songs from those twenty bands will be made available at www.sprintbattleofbands.com, and the public will then vote for their favorite (one vote only per email address) during the month of June. The ten bands with the most online votes will move on to perform a thirty minute set at a show before a panel of judges which will include artists, record label and television executives, radio personalities and representatives from our program sponsors.

Bands will be assigned points for presentation/stage presence, songwriting, musicianship and originality.
